Since 2000, Winemaker Chuck Laird has been pursuing his passion, and refining his technique, until he developed the perfect bottle of passion.......disguised as wine. Offically started in 2006, Chuck and his crew crushed and pressed nearly 5 tons of grapes at the Issaquah winery this year, including: Cabernet sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Merlot, Zinfandel, Pinot Noir and Pinot Grigio. All the grapes are grown in the southeastern part of Washington state, on the hills above Benton City. With a good relationship with the grower, Chuck is able to help manage the growing process of the grapes along with Scott, from deciding on the amount of canopy left over the fruit, to the proper picking time when the brix levels are perfect. When the time comes, we hope you'll come visit, try our wines and enjoy a glass of Passion with us!

VALENTINE WINE & CHOCOLATE EVENT February 13th & February 14th 12:00 pm - 4:30 pm 4 wines paired with 4, 1 oz truffles in a truly romantic setting, our softly lit barrel room! $25 per person includes tax, reservations recommended: passionvineyards@cs.com Time & date not needed for reservation but please reserve your chocolate! Under 21 not accommodated at chocolate tasting. Lovely chocolates, fresh roses, shortbread cookies, as well as delicious items for the cook! Walnuts in red Wine, Tapenades, vinegars, oils, salts, viniagrettes, jams, jellies! All can be incorporated into one of our custom picnic baskets along with any of our wines. A very romantic gift for your Valentine, male or female. Our tasting room will be open as well. $5 fee waived with any wine purchase in our tasting room.
